Are you enthusiastic about sailing? Do you enjoy spending time in nature with fellow sailing comrades over a whole day of playing with the wind on water? Do you want to try out your sailing skills on optimists and give it a chance to win a spectacular prize? Are you ready to show us your adventurous side?!

What is het ZOK?
Het ZOK /zuidelijke Optimisten Kampioenschappen/ is an informal sailing competition for the Southern Student Sailing Societies. Each year WSZV Aqua, Boreas, NSZV De Loefbijter and MSZV Lagakari’s members are invited to compete with Optimists for the through generations passed extraordinary ZOK cup. This open sailing event is organized annually by the sailors of the student sailing association that had won it last. This year ZOK 2020 is organized by WSZV Aqua.
What can you expect?
Sailing, sailing and more sailing on optimists – easy to sail and difficult to drown bathtubs with a sail, where the adrenaline rush kicks in the most. Delicious food and drinks will be provided throughout the whole day with a closing, cozy BBQ party. Het ZOK is a perfect opportunity to spend a day out in the sun by a lake and share funky vibes with other sporty people. The costs for the entire day including food, drinks and the boats will be €30,- per person.
Where & When?
Het ZOK 2020 will be held at WSV the Viking in Den Bosch on Sunday 24th of May 2020. The harbor is close to the station, easily reachable by public transport.
